LORAIN, Ohio — Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing Lorain teen who has not been seen for five days.
Cassandra Carter, 15, went missing after visiting a friend's house in Sheffield Lake last Friday. Authorities believe she could be on Lorain's west side and is possibly "actively avoiding" her family as well as officers.
Cassandra is described as being 5-foot-7 and weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Officials warn anyone assisting her efforts to remain missing could be arrested.
Anyone with information regarding Cassandra's whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Lorain Police Department at (440) 204-2100.
