Police say the shooting happened on Friday at around 11:40 p.m., near 810 Ferndale Road. Officers received multiple calls about shots being fired and people running from the nearby area.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found four gunshot wound victims. A 17 and 18-year-old were found dead inside the home and two other teens were transported to the hospital.

Police were later contacted by a hospital that stated that an additional gunshot wound victim had been brought to the ER in a personal vehicle. During an interview with a few witnesses, police also learned that one of them had been shot. The four felonious assault victims ranged from 14-19 years old.

Mansfield police say they collected numerous pieces of evidence from the scene including guns and drugs. Approximately 30-50 people were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

"A group of subjects fled the scene on foot and in vehicles from witness accounts. Subjects at the party were not able to give a good description of the suspect or suspects or any vehicles," said Mansfield police officials.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Jered Kingsborough at 419-755-9729 or Det. Korey Kaufman at 419-755-9748.

“We are asking for the help of the community in identifying the suspects in these heinous crimes.,” stated Lt. Robert J. Skropits.
