The idea for The Orchid House Winery began as a love affair between Kathleen Dangelo and her late husband Andy. There was a deep love for orchids and it sparked the creation of turning something old, into something new.
A newly-acquired space and rebrand from the former Thorncreek Winery, Orchid House is just ripe for weddings, corporate events, parties, special photography shoots, dinner, and even happy hours. Dangelo asks "Where else can you go to enjoy a fabulous meal, fabulous glass of wine, in an unparalleled setting?"
With all of the wines originating in the Napa valley, there are so many wines to choose from including Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and the incredible Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Additionally, there are plenty menu items to affectionately gnosh on while you sip.
Try your hand at charcuterie, lobster lettuce wrap, a caprese salad, or maybe pan seared scallops and short rib bolognese, before completing the final scrapings of the chocolate mousse cake.
The Orchid House Winery is open Tuesday through Thursday 4 p.m.-10 p.m., plus Friday and Saturday 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Cheers!
