Cleveland Cavaliers end 12-game home skid, beat Atlanta Hawks 127-105

The Cavs won at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse for the first time since beating the Hawks on Dec. 23.

CLEVELAND — Tristan Thompson scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Larry Nance Jr. had a career-high 23 points, and the Cleveland Cavaliers broke a 12-game home losing streak by defeating the Atlanta Hawks 127-105 on Wednesday.

Cleveland was coming off its worst home loss in franchise history, getting blasted by the Los Angeles Clippers 133-92 on Sunday. The Cavs had dropped 13 of 14 overall before Wednesday's win. 

Collin Sexton, who was just added to the Rising Stars roster this week, scored 23 points.

Andre Drummond scored 14 points and had 15 rebounds in his second game as a Cavalier. Nance added 12 rebounds starting in place of the injured Kevin Love.

The Cavaliers went ahead midway through the first quarter and won at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse for the first time since beating the Hawks on Dec. 23. 

Trae Young led the Hawks with 27 points and 12 assists.
