Cleveland State tallied a season-best 24 assists and topped Green Bay 85-69 Friday night to move back into first place in the Horizon League.
Torrey Patton led the Vikings (15-5, 11-2 Horizon League) with five assists and added a team-high 16 points. CSU never trailed after taking a 6-4 lead less than four minutes into the game.
Nate Jenkins led Green Bay (4-17, 3-9) with 19 points. The Phoenix have lost four in a row.
Cleveland State will next host Milwaukee Sunday afternoon at the Wolstein Center.
