Tristan Enaruna, Cleveland State knock off Robert Morris 75-70 in OT to advance to Horizon League semifinals

Down by as many as 12, the Vikings slowly chipped away behind Enaruna's 23 points and Drew Lowder's clutch free throws.

CLEVELAND — Tristan Enaruna scored 23 points, four in the overtime, as Cleveland State came from behind beat Robert Morris 75-70 on Thursday night in the Horizon League Tournament quarterfinals.

Enaruna, a first-team all-conference selection, also contributed seven rebounds and three blocks for the Vikings (20-12). Deante Johnson added 15 points while going 6 of 11 and 3 of 4 from the free throw line, and he also had six rebounds. Drew Lowder recorded 11 points and was 2 of 6 shooting, including 1 for 3 from distance, and went 6 for 7 from the line.

It was the sixth win in a row for third-seeded CSU, which trailed by as many as 12 in the second half. The Vikes slowly chipped away, and after a Robert Morris turnover Lowder sank a pair of free throws with seven seconds left to eventually force OT. 

The 6-seed Colonials (16-17) were led in scoring by Stephaun Walker, who finished with 15 points and six rebounds. Josh Corbin added 14 points for Robert Morris. In addition, Michael Green III finished with 14 points, five assists and four steals.

The Colonials never lead in overtime, with Deante Johnson's jumper putting Cleveland State ahead for good with 3:34 to go. Lowder and Deshon Parker then combined to hit six free throws down the stretch to ice the game.

The Vikings now head to the conference semifinals in Indianapolis for the third year in a row, and will face second seed Milwaukee Monday night. CSU lost both its games against the Panthers during the regular season.
