Carolina Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson not happy with Baker Mayfield rumors

The Panthers WR took to social media to voice his displeasure with rumors linking Browns QB Baker Mayfield to his team.

CLEVELAND — Editor's Note: The above video is from the YNK Podcast where Browns QB Baker Mayfield voiced his feelings about the team disrespecting him.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport appeared on The Pat McAfee show Friday morning to discuss the list of likely destinations for Browns QB Baker Mayfield. McAfee Show co-host AJ Hawk asked Rapoport for any new developments on potential trade talks for Mayfield.

"He identified the Seahawks as his likely team. That was a little surprising to me because I haven't gotten the sense at all that the Seahawks are that interested," Rapoport said. "I think the Carolina Panthers are the most likely landing spot or someone brings him in as a high money backup who could take over like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."

Mayfield appeared on the YNK Podcast earlier this week where mentioned the Seahawks in Rapoport's quote. During that same podcast episode he admitted he felt "disrespected" by the Browns because of inconsistent communication in the months leading up to the Deshaun Watson trade.

The Baker Mayfield disrespect continued on Instagram after Rapoport's comments started to circulate. Carolina Panthers WR Robby Anderson voiced his displeasure regarding the rumors linking Mayfield to Carolina in a post by a Panthers fan page.

Anderson then doubled down on his comment on another fan page that brought attention to the comment above by posting "Facts" on a post saying "Robby Anderson does not want Baker Mayfield to come to Carolina"

The comments remain up on both posts.

The Carolina Panthers currently have two quarterbacks signed to their active roster. Mayfield's draft-mate Sam Darnold who was taken No. 3 overall right behind Mayfield in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Jets and backup P.J. Walker has appeared in nine games while starting two over the course of his two-year career.
