Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett hosts youth football camp at Gilmour Academy

GATES MILLS, Ohio — We're still about three months away from the start of the NFL season, but that hasn't stopped kids all across Northeast Ohio from getting into the football spirit.

That spirit was certainly alive and well Saturday in Gates Mills, where children from across the area gathered for a youth football ProCamp with Browns star Myles Garrett. The gathering at Gilmour Academy featured the three-time All-Pro and various high school and college coaches from the area lecturing and instructing along with non-contact game "in a high-energy, fun, and positive environment."

Garrett got a chance to interact with all of the attendees, and afterward took a team photo with the entire group.

The 26-year-old Garrett is coming off perhaps the best year of his career, during which he set Cleveland's official single-season sack mark with 16. He has also continued to emerge as a civic leader, hosting various charity events around the community.

The ProCamp runs through Sunday.
