CLEVELAND — The decision is in.
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson learned his fate for the upcoming 2022-23 NFL season on Thursday -- and reaction from social media came in fast (see below).
Watson will serve an 11-game suspension and pay a $5 million fine after violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. Ultimately, Watson and the NFL came to a settlement after the NFL appealed former US District Judge Sue Robinson's ruling of a six-game suspension.
Here's some reaction from social media...
Watson's first game for the Cleveland Browns will be against his former team, the Houston Texans, on Dec. 4. The game will take place on the road at NRG Stadium.
EDITOR'S NOTE: 3News reached out to the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center but they declined to comment on the decision at this time.
