According to FirstEnergy, as of 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, power has been restored for most customers in Northeast Ohio. Locally, here is how the outages break down by county:

Strong to severe storms struck across Northeast Ohio on Wednesday evening into overnight. The primary threat was damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours.

On Thursday, we knock our temperatures back a little due to the rain and storms that'll move through this evening. Highs will be back in the 80s...isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon/evening. Today's rain chances are not associated with last night's system.

Friday could be the hottest day of 2023 *so far*. Highs look to be in the low-90s with heat index values near 100°.
