Guided walking tour downtown

From the organizers: "Explore Downtown Cleveland on a guided walking tour! This walking tour covers Public Square to Playhouse Square and everything in between, including the Cleveland Public Library and the Federal Reserve of Cleveland, as well as visits inside the Arcade and the Cleveland Trust Company Building. The majority of our tour is outside. Tours are rain or shine. Two hours in length."

Cleveland Boat Show

The Progressive Cleveland Boat Show is a celebration for seasoned boaters, or beginners. Live music, education for all boaters, live fishing, local food, family fun, and more.

Guards Fest

Brite Winter

From the organizers:  "A typical February evening on the West Bank of the Flats is pretty quiet. Not so during Brite Winter. The non-profit festival brings together people of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds, allowing them to discover new music and art and enjoy their community. Spanning fifteen years, three locations, tens of thousands of guests, hundreds of bands and artists, and temperatures as low as 8 and as high as 69 degrees—Brite Winter has always been a festival created with the community, not just for it."

Orchids Forever

From the organizers: "Orchids Forever returns to Cleveland Botanical Garden this January to melt away the winter blues! This year’s show will highlight the nostalgic feeling of sunrise and sunset. Species like Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, and Cymbidium come in hues of pink, purple, orange, and yellow—the sky’s color palette. Winter Warmer Fest

Fight for Air Climb

2024 NCAA Women's Final Four

The NCAA Women's Final Four is heading back to Cleveland! Between April 5-7, Northeast Ohioans will be able to witness the top women's basketball teams in the nation compete for a national championship. You won't want to miss the crowning of a new champion!

Guardians Home Opener

On April 8, Cleveland will host the Chicago White Sox, in what will mark the team's 2024 home opener at Progressive Field. Coincidentally, this will also be the day a total solar eclipse will be visible throughout much of Northeast Ohio during the afternoon.

Solar Eclipse

The United States will experience one of the most spectacular sky gazing events -- a total solar eclipse -- and Northeast Ohio will be in the direct path of totality when the eclipse happens on Monday, April 8, 2024. "A total solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the sun and earth, completely blocking the face of the sun," NASA explains. "The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk."

When:

Monday, April 8, 2024. 

NASA says the eclipse will begin at 1:59 p.m. in Cleveland. Totality begins at 3:13 p.m. with maximum effect at 3:15 p.m. Totality ends around 3:17 p.m. before the partial eclipse finishes at 4:29 p.m.

Sherwin Williams Opening

The new headquarters will be home to approximately 4,000 Sherwin-Williams employees in downtown Cleveland. “Part of the Company’s Building Our Future project, the approximately 1,000,000 square-foot facility will function as the front porch to Public Square and consist of a two-story pavilion, a 36-story tower and a multi-level parking garage,” according to company officials. Crews first broke ground on the project in January 2022.

Fashion After Dark

From the organizers: "This exhibition will simulate the atmosphere of an evening on Euclid Avenue with immersive lighting and sound. Using the Hay-McKinney Mansion’s period rooms and bulbs that mimic gaslight and early electricity, vignettes of dressing, dining, entertaining, and household service will populate the home. The Hay-McKinney Mansion (1911) is the only fully restored house of its kind open to the public in Cleveland. Fashion and period rooms will work together to create a storybook atmosphere, transporting visitors back in time."

Fan Expo Cleveland

Top Thrill 2

Cedar Point will open its brand new rollercoaster Top Thrill 2, at the start of the 2024 season. It's the world’s tallest and fastest triple-launch roller coaster. Here's how the park describes it: "Guests will be launched in reverse at 101 mph, rising into the sky at a 90-degree angle on the new tower. This reverse launch is the second of three exhilarating launches on the ride."

Holden Arboretum

Hall of Fame Water Park

Construction has officially begun on a new football-themed waterpark that's coming to the Hall of Fame Village in Canton. So what can you expect? Once it's complete, the 147,000-square-foot attraction will feature a water slide tower, lazy river, wave pool, zero-entry fun zone, swim-up bar, and outdoor entertainment area.

Bash on the Bay

Country star Jelly Roll is set to be the headline performer for Bash on the Bay 2024 next August during the two-day concert event at the Put-In-Bay Airport on South Bass Island. Rock Hall Inductions

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is headed back to Cleveland in 2024! Though no date is set yet, stick with 3News for complete coverage of inductees, ceremony information, and ways to watch from home! This year's ceremony comes on the heels of the Rock Hall entering a new era: In October 2023, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for their $135 million expansion project.
