CLEVELAND — Positive COVID-19 cases are sending hundreds of kids into quarantine around Northeast Ohio. That was our top talker in today’s edition of the “On the GO!” post show with the 3News morning team.

Hollie Strano, Danielle Wiggins, Dave Chudowsky, Jasmine Monroe and Austin Love gather to react to the growing number of positive or presumptive COVID-19 cases in the region.

Two students enrolled in Parma City Schools are believed to have the virus.

A high school student in Mentor also tested positive, and more than 200 students and staff within the Mayfield City Schools are being asked to quarantine after two positive COVID-19 cases were confirmed this week.

In the Willoughby-Eastlake school district, Eastlake Middle School is closed until Oct. 19 after two positive cases.

On a less serious subject, the GO! team also shared their ideas for fun fall activities to enjoy this weekend. Find out why two members of the Go! team love Patterson Fruit Farm and why Dave says everyone should visit White House Fruit Farm in Canfield. Hint, hint … it’s all about the donuts.

Over events include the Lake Metroparks Farmpark Corn and Pumpkin Weekends, the Trick-or-Treat Fest at the Cleveland Zoo and the ‘Fall In Love Maple Tour.’
