Streetsboro Police Department to be featured on ‘Live PD’ tonight

‘We are extremely proud of our officers.’

STREETSBORO, Ohio — Heroic officers with the Streetsboro Police Department will be given national recognition as a recent rescue will be featured on Wednesday night’s episode of Live PD Presents: PD Cam.

The moment happened last August when Streetsboro police officers saved the life of "a suicidal woman who had driven her car into Liberty Park."

The episode airs Jan. 29 on A&E at 8:30 p.m.

“We are extremely proud of our officers, but we also want our followers to know help is available,” officials with the Streetsboro Police Department posted on Facebook. “If you or someone you know are struggling with thoughts of suicide, the National Suicide Prevention Hotline is open 24 hours a day at 1-800-273-8255.”

The Streetsboro Police Department was previously featured on the show in 2018, but had pulled back its participation in the program due to staffing.

A&E has put together a series of clips featuring "The Best of Streetsboro" from previous airings of Live PD:
