STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Anybody attempting to visit Bar Louie at Southpark Mall on Sunday was in for a surprise.
The location unexpectedly closed its doors after its final day Saturday.
“To our loyal guests, our last day of business was January 25, 2020,” Bar Louie posted on their Facbook page shortly before noon Sunday.
Bar Louie’s post suggests their customers visit the Westlake location at Crocker Park instead. A search of their site also indicates the Legacy Village location remains open.
This comes amid other recent Bar Louie closures – including one in Miamisburg, Ohio.
“Ugh! What a shame!” one person commented on Bar Louie's Facebook post. “And now they are telling us to go to Westlake?! Too many places are closing around here. …”
“Another employer gone,” another person wrote. “It’s a shame and I enjoyed the friends I made while I worked at Houlihan's and Bar Louie.”
