The location will be open on Monday, June 22.

As coronavirus (COVID-19) testing continues to increase, Rite Aid has announced it will soon be opening five new COVID-19 self-swab testing sites, including one in Lorain.

Located at the Rite Aid store at 2709 Broadway Avenue, the testing site will be open on Monday, June 22. It will utilize self-swab tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists, while operating through the store’s drive-through window.

In total, Rite Aid now has 97 testing sites and possesses the capacity to conduct more than 48,000 tests weekly across all locations. In addition to Ohio, new locations are also opening in Michigan and New Jersey in the coming days.
