A 91-year-old man has died more than one month after being hit by a car while working in his front yard on Cleveland's east side, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Friday.
Thomas R. Price passed away Thursday at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. His exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
Police say Price was struck in a hit-skip on the afternoon of June 3, when witnesses say a gray, four-door, 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix went off the right side of East 144th St., clipped a tree, and hit Price before colliding with his house on the 3700 block. A male driver and a female passenger then allegedly exited the vehicle before running away.
The search continues for the occupants of the car. Anyone with information regarding their identities or whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Cleveland Division of Police at (216) 623-1234.
