Cleveland Police seek help identifying victim, suspects in fatal shooting

The Cleveland Division of Police is seeking answers in the death of an unidentified man. 

According to reports, officials responded to the 3500 block of East 105th Street for a man suffering a gunshot wound to the head around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. At the scene, the victim was found in the driver's side of a car that had crashed into two others. 

The victim was transported to University Hospitals by EMS, where he was pronounced dead. 

Homicide detectives later responded to the scene and learned that the victim has been parked on East 105th Street and was approached by six unknown males. One of the suspects fired several shots into the victim's car. Attempting to flee, the victim "accelerated the car" and traveled a short distance before crashing. 

The unknown suspects fled the scene of the fatal shooting on foot. No information on the suspects' identities has been released at this time. Police have also not released any information regarding a potential motive.
