CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — President Donald Trump's son Eric will be in Northeast Ohio next week to host a campaign event meant to help rally support for his father among religious voters.

"Evangelicals for Trump: Praise, Prayer, and Patriotism" will take place Tuesday at 5 p.m. from the New Spirit Revival Center on Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights. Besides Eric Trump, the gathering will feature remarks from several well-known Evangelical leaders, including Pastor Paula White and Bishop Harry R. Jackson Jr.

President Trump has enjoyed consistent support from conservative Christians since being elected to the White House in 2016, and white Evangelicals voted for him by a more than 80%-20% margin four years ago. However, other religious groups are less bullish on his candidacy: For example, Catholics favored him by seven points in 2016, but a recent Real Clear Politics poll shows Democratic nominee (and practicing Catholic) Joe Biden now leading with the group by double-digits.

Doors open from Tuesday's "Evangelicals for Trump" event at 4 p.m. Admission is open to the public, but those wishing to attend must register in advance here.
