Mike Polk Jr. has this message for Browns fans after Sunday's loss to Rams: 'That felt like a pretty good loss to me'

'There are degrees of losing. I truly believe that. If you’re a real Browns fan, then you know that as well.'

CLEVELAND — Now some people are going to say, “Hey, we didn’t win, but that was a moral victory.”

Then other people will be like, “There’s no such thing as a moral victory. You win or you lose!”

That’s not true. There are degrees of losing. I truly believe that. If you’re a real Browns fan, then you know that as well.

That felt like a pretty good loss to me. We’ve experienced them all.

Are you really going to try and tell me that today's loss to a team that played in the Super Bowl last year while our entire defensive secondary was injured and our starting tight end, is the same thing as when we lost in that game where Brandon Weeden got trapped under a giant American flag and then threw four interceptions before we lost to Philadelphia?

I played basketball all the way through high school. Not well, but consistently. My freshman year I accidentally tipped in a ball into the opponent’s hoop. We lost that game to Mineral Ridge 62-61. That’s right, I scored the winning basket for the other team.

Now if you really believe that every kind of loss is the same, that means you weren’t on that bus ride home with me.
