CLEVELAND — Although nobody in Ohio hit the $476 million jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Friday, April 14, 2023, there were still plenty of people who won smaller prizes throughout the state.
The Ohio Lottery says there were thousands of different winning tickets sold in the state with varying prizes as listed below....
- $1,000 prize: 5 winners
- $500 prize: 16 winners
- $400 prize: 11 winners
- $200 prize: 28 winners
- $20 prize: 619 winners
- $10 prize: 1,615 winners
- $8 prize: 2,162 winners
- $4 prize: 11,595 winners
- $2 prize: 14,871 winners
Mega Millions officials say that the winning $476 million ticket, which matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball, was sold in New York. The prize is the 13th largest prize in the lottery game's history.

The winning numbers in the Friday night drawing are 23, 27, 41, 48, 51 and Mega Ball 22. The Megaplier option was 2x.
The Mega Millions jackpot now sits at an estimated $20 million, which features a cash option worth $10.6 million. The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 p.m.
