Winning Powerball numbers for $660 million jackpot on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023: See all the prizes hit in Ohio

While no one in America won the grand prize, $100,000 tickets were sold in Cuyahoga Falls and Wellington.

CLEVELAND — Although nobody won the $660 million Powerball jackpot in the lottery drawing for Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, there were still a couple of big winners in Northeast Ohio.

The Ohio Lottery confirms a $100,000 ticket was sold at a Circle K in Cuyahoga Falls, while another with the same amount was sold at Certified Oil in Wellington. This means the winners got four out of the five regular numbers drawn correct plus the Powerball number, and they also took this drawing's Power Play option of 2x to double the normal prize of $50,000.

There were thousands of smaller winners across the Buckeye State on Christmas Day. Here's a full breakdown:

  • $100,000 prize: 3 winners
  • $200 prize: 29 winners
  • $100 prize: 69 winners
  • $14 prize: 983 winners
  • $8 prize: 8,503 winners
  • $7 prize: 2,119 winners
  • $4 prize: 20,718 winners

The lucky numbers from the Saturday night drawing are 5, 12, 20, 24, 29 with Powerball 4. As mentioned, the Power Play option was 2x.

The jackpot now grows to an estimated $685 million for the next Powerball drawing, which is set for Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 10:59 p.m. That prize has a cash option worth $344.7 million.

Powerball lottery officials say the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in 292,201,338.00, which is slightly better than the Mega Millions odds of one in 302,575,350. The odds of hitting a $1 million winning ticket in Powerball, meanwhile, are one in 11,688,053.52.

Northeast Ohio had a big Powerball winner earlier this year as one lucky ticket sold at a GetGo in Macedonia hit the jackpot worth $252.6 million during the April 19 drawing.
