CLEVELAND — If you're heading out late this evening, we're expecting scattered pop up showers and thunderstorms in the area. A few of the thunderstorms that develop could produce drenching rain, vivid lightning and gusty winds. Though a few severe thunderstorms are possible from time to time, I think that most of the storms should stay under severe limits. We'll hang on to partly to mostly cloudy skies tonight with overnight lows falling into the low 70s. Where we see the rain tonight will be the most favored areas for seeing patchy fog first thing Wednesday morning.

You'll wake Wednesday morning to patchy fog and a few isolated showers/storms. Into the afternoon, a few more splash and dash showers and storms are possible with highs rocketing into the upper 80s.

Though a few lingering showers are possible early Thursday morning, I think we'll start to dry things out Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday. Rain chances return by the end of this upcoming weekend and into early next week.
